District Nine President Branda Young is a life member of VFW Auxiliary 2180 in Warrenton. She joined the Auxiliary at age 16 under the eligibility of her grandfather Herman Stuck, a Korean Veteran. Her work in the kitchen during Bingo helped her earn her life membership However, her involvement with the Auxiliary began even earlier. As a child in a car seat, her mother would bring her to meetings, where she'd sit under the tables. When she was five she joined the Auxiliary's Junior Girls program.

Branda’s favorite Auxiliary position has been District President. She loves being able to lead her District.

Outside of the Auxiliary, her life is full in Union, MO. She cherishes spending time with her family, especially teaching her little one, Bug. Between running their 8 businesses, you can find her relaxing by the pool, caring for her many plants or trying her hand at gardening, or completing craft projects.
