District 17 VFW Auxiliary President Jeanne Shuck is a dedicated member of the Mark Twain Auxiliary located in Perry, Missouri. She joined the Auxiliary in September 2004 under the eligibility of her father, a United States Army veteran who served honorably in Korea, inspiring her commitment to supporting veterans and their families.

Now happily retired, Jeanne spends her time sewing, attempting to keep her flowers alive, and enjoying her family. She is married to her husband, Donald, who works as a farmer. They are the proud parents of a daughter, Julia, who lives and works in Seattle, Washington, and a son, Jeremy, who resides in Perry. Jeanne also delights in being a grandmother to Jeremy's two sons—a detail that currently earns him the coveted title of her favorite child.
