A resident of Kirksville, Georgia Welte joined the VFW Auxiliary in 1991 under the eligibility of her husband Tim. She belongs to VFW Auxiliary 2508. Georgia has enjoyed her role as President: it has allowed her to talk to others and exercise her interpersonal skills. Another facet of her life is her work as a hair stylist. When not working, Georgia enjoys crocheting, cooking for her family, reading, and helping at her church.
