Branda Young
Guard -

Branda "Brandy" Young is a dedicated Life Member of VFW Auxiliary 12243 in Union, Missouri, located within District 9, and holds the position of Guard. Brandy’s deep-rooted commitment to veterans began in 1999 when she joined the Auxiliary as a Life Member at just 16 years old. She proudly gained her eligibility through her grandfather, Herman Stuck, a United States Army veteran who served honorably in Korea during the Korean War. Her long-standing membership reflects a lifetime of dedication to honoring the sacrifices of our nation's heroes and supporting the organization's vital missions.

When she is not volunteering her time with the VFW Auxiliary, Brandy balances her busy life as a homemaker and self-employed individual. Her diverse interests include creating graphics, crafting, and tending to her animals. Above all, she cherishes the time she spends with her family. Brandy is happily married to her husband, Brad, and is the proud mother of three children and grandmother of one grandson, all of whom inspire her continued passion for service and community leadership.
